Film Swaps!I saw this idea on flickr and I think its a great idea! Someone takes a roll of film on their lomo, holga, etc and sends the film to someone else, who then double exposes the film and it becomes an artistic colaboration! Wana try it out? Go the the forum and swap it up! + = Wanderlass + RCM273LDN
AboutI Love Lomo was started by me, Amber Smith, aka Kat. Im addicted to film and love lomo/holga type cameras. I started this site because I got tired of the impersonal, sometimes “loaded” environments of flickr groups (every photo is AWESOME to everyone, lack of time taken to look, real criticism or reward and basic give-shittedness) and the barrenness of the Lomography member area. This site does have a flickr group because wordpress has such great integration tools. The group can be seen on the sidebar of the blog and I post all my photos in blogs through another plugin. I hope for the forum to be an area where we can trade tips, tricks, techniques and experiences with Lomo, Holga, and pretty much ANY lofi camera. I have a Polaroid Colorpack II, an old Lomo Smena 8, a holga with hotshoe, a Regula Sprinky (sprinty), a brownie bullseye, a brownie bullet, a mionolta 110 SLR, a homemade argus pinhole camera, several toy 110 cameras, a Pentax pz-1p, duaflex IV, and a Pentax 6×7 with a polaroid back. I have been into photography for about 12 years now and at least 5 of those years were spent in photography classes and hours in the darkroom but I have managed to still reject commercial photography and stick to art. As much as I’d like to make a living at photography, I dont want to hate it. I’ll answer any photography questions I can but the best part about lomography is that its meant to be experimental, not necessarily learned. shooting through the viewfinder of a duaflex Heres a few pics of my cameras!
